*** She will provide her own transportation, equipment and lunch. You will need to provide a private space with access to a bathroom and sink. 

Group wellness services:
  • Mobility sessions: develop and lead a class. Education on movement and stretching.
  • Yoga: class tailored to your groups needs.
  • Meditation: lead a guided meditation to help calm the nervous system and teach tools to use on their own.
  • Health/ Wellness Workshop: develop a workshop to support the needs of your group. This workshop will offer a nutrition component, self-care component and finish with a movement and  meditation. 

*** Sessions can be in person or via zoom. Please inquire about pricing for group wellness services. She will provide her own transportation, supplies and lunch for in person sessions. You will need to provide a private space with access to a bathroom and sink. 

Payment:

  • Massage packages: require min  50% non-refundable deposit to secure your day. Then pay off the remainder balance the day of. To rebook, please allow for a week's notice and no later than 24 hours cancellation. Last minute cancellation will be charged. The fee for the missed day will be one massage plus the cost of the prepaid transportation. Payment can be; by cash, deposit in Nicaraguan bank account or Pay Pal. Pay Pal will include a 10% transfer fee. 
 
  • Group wellness services/ workshops: 50% non-refundable deposit to book. Then remainder balance due on the day of the workshop. Payment can be; by cash, deposit in bank account or Pay Pal. Pay Pal will include a 10% transfer fee.​



SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS


​Massage Therapy

​is manipulation of the soft tissues and  consists of manual techniques that include applying pressure, holding, or moving the body.  Knowing the effects of these techniques on the circulation of  the blood, lymph and nervous system, massage can help reduce muscle tension or flaccidity.  It can help  with old or new injuries by relieving pain and imbalance that can occur. With a combination of targeting the nervous system, using the knowledge of anatomy and the physiological effects, massage facilitates the healing process.

Reiki
​

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. This treatment targets the nervous system, calms the mind and the body.

Yoga/ Meditation 
​

Yoga is an ancient practice, rooted in Indian philosophy. It began as a spiritual practice but has become popular as a way of promoting physical and mental well-being. Although classical yoga also includes other elements, yoga as practiced typically emphasizes physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana). This is practice allows the mind and body to connect, let go physically and mentally. 

Fascial Stretch Therapy
​

FST is a wonderful tool to help increase range of motion within an area that is tight or stuck. This could be due to an old injury (build up of scar tissue), lack of strength, or pain. This technique is a very deep stretch.

Fascial Stretch Therapy Targets
  • The Fascial Layer -connective tissue that lays on top of the muscle.
  • The Joint Capsule - contains the bone and fluid found in the joint.
  • All the muscles that attach in and surround the joint.

Designed to connect you back to your core: physically and energetically. You will learn ways of listening to the body and understanding the physical responses or sensations that often present in the body. This class will guide you through self-care techniques.

All sessions will be informative and offer discussions followed by movement.  The goal is to shift your perspective on how we can ‘listen’ to our bodies.
